Update:

  • Fixed a bug where the gun is locked when plugging in the controller.
  • Fixed a rare bug that causes crashing 

A lot of the feedback I've gotten has been positive, there's a lot of changes and quality of life stuff I want to do, this will be for the full demo release a few months down the line (which will include a hub world and a whole second level), most feedback I'll be getting, unless it's game breaking will be for the future demo instead:

  • Dash right away after being hit
  • Restart from checkpoint button
  • Skip dialogue cutscene
  • Jump buffer implementation
  • Being able to dash from the ground instead of jumping every time
  • Lazer colors will be more consistent to match with speed 
  • Bouncepads will be color coded to correspond with its bounce strength
  • Drill enemies will be overhauled entirely, so they're  slightly bigger and you can shoot them to turn them off for a moment
  • Falling platforms will not fade when red, they'll keep falling until off screen instead of fading out and disabling the collision box
  • First room will be redone to have safe zones for first time players so they can get comfortable with the mechanics
  • Signposts will auto change if you're using a keyboard
  • Boss will show a sign before appearing out of a door during the fight
  • Checkpoint will be overhauled (unsure yet, there's a few things I want to try out)
